Pro Global has become a member of the Financial Services Skills Commission.

Founded in 1993, Pro Global is a specialist insurance partner supporting insurers, brokers, reinsurers, MGAs and delegated businesses across complex insurance operations.

The firm has joined the Commission because it sees developing the skills and capabilities of its people as critical, both to the future of Pro Global, and to the wider insurance sector. As the industry continues to evolve through changing client expectations, technology and new operating models, Pro Global believes there is a real opportunity to help shape the skills needed for the future, while supporting reskilling, continuous learning and attracting new talent into the sector.

As a Partner member, Pro Global will contribute to projects focused on addressing skills gaps and supporting reskilling, learning, upskilling and talent attraction across financial services.

Patrick Francis-Lang, Head of Group Human Resources, Pro Global, said: “The insurance industry is changing quickly and the skills we need are changing with it. At Pro Global, we believe that investing in people, creating opportunities to learn and developing the capabilities our industry will need tomorrow are fundamental to long term success. Joining the Financial Services Skills Commission gives us the opportunity not only to learn from others, but to play an active role in shaping that future and helping build a strong and sustainable talent base for our sector.”

Claire Tunley, Chief Executive, Financial Services Skills Commission, said: “We are delighted to welcome Pro Global as a member of the Financial Services Skills Commission. As insurance operations specialists who recognise the importance of workforce skills, we look forward to sharing in their valuable insights and expertise. The pace of change across financial services means that collaboration on skills has never been more important. By working together to address skills gaps, support reskilling and attract new talent, we can help ensure the sector has the capabilities it needs to thrive in the years ahead.”

The Financial Services Skills Commission is an independent, not for profit, member-led body, representing the UK’s financial services sector on skills. The organisation works directly with the sector to ensure businesses have the talent and skills they need for the future.
