1 13 March 2025: Roundtable with Toby Perkins MP, Chair of the Apprenticeships, All-Party Parliamentary Groups

The Financial Services Skills Commission, TheCityUK and City of London Corporation are jointly hosting a members’ roundtable with Toby Perkins MP on Thursday 13 March 2025.

Toby Perkins is the MP for Chesterfield in Derbyshire and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Apprenticeships. Before becoming an MP, Toby was a councillor, ran his own small business and worked as a director in a social enterprise.

We will be discussing reform on the apprenticeship levy regime, skills policy more broadly, and how the government’s proposed move to a broader Growth and Skills Levy can be achieved and what this might mean for business.

This event is being held in partnership between the Financial Services Skills Commission, TheCityUK, and City of London Corporation, and kindly hosted by Vicky Davies, CEO, at Danske Bank UK.

This private meeting will be chaired by Mark Hoban, Chair of the Financial Services Skills Commission. It will bring together C-suite leaders from across the financial services sector to discuss skills and growth in financial services across Northern Ireland.
